AM - 8.75 miles. 60 min with 30 min tempo. Great tempo today. I stuck with everybody for the first twenty minutes and then Nick and Logan really got rolling and started to gap me a bit but I was able to still finish off the tempo strong and kept the gap very small. Nice strong group today. It still needs work but it's coming along. I didn't feel tired today which was great but I'm going to need to work to keep it that way.

PM - 3.5 miles. 32 min easy. I ran by myself over to the high school and ran the time trial course. I'm really looking forward to racing on it next week. Legs felt great this afternoon but my stomach was all jacked.

AM - 7.25 miles. 45 min with 60/60s. Great workout today. We got a really good group going just like 2 weeks ago on the 30/30s. Nick, Paul, Preston, and I all maxed out at 15 repeats. It was pretty difficult those last few but I promised myself that I would get all the way to 15 and that really helped. Legs didn't feel tired even though I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night. Little bit of extra mileage at Kids Club.

PM - 3.25 miles. 30 min easy. I just ran by myself over to the school and ran the time trial course so I could start getting a feel for it. Crazy course with the addition of the rocks on the hill and better grass on top of the hill. There is a bunch of equipment in the way over by the shot put ring so that could be a problem come the race next week. Legs felt pretty tired from this morning but it wasn't extremely hot.

AM - 6 miles. 45 min (35 road, 10 grass) with striders. I got out at about 6:30 and ran by myself. I was able to get a little bit of grass in at 2450 which was great. I didn't really feel tired from yesterday but it definitely felt good to take it easy.

PM - 3.5 miles. 30 min easy. First run at XC camp. I felt fine but kept it easy.

AM - 7 miles. 60 min with long hill. Super hard run today. I couldn't get myself to stick with the group on the way up because the hill was super hard especially with the high altitude. The way back was easy and I was able to just coast back down with the group.

PM - 3.5 miles. 30 min easy. We drove out to a trail in hopes of finding the legit look out point but it was a lot farther than we could go so we had to settle for a much less legit one.

AM - 12.75 miles. 90 min with strong finish. Fun run. Coach had dropped a car off somewhere so we didn't have to do an out and back which made it very nice and mostly downhill. I felt really sore and tired from yesterday but since it was mostly downhill I was able to stick with the group for the majority of it. I fell behind a bit at about 70 min when we passed the car because my stomach started feeling bad. Strong finish wasn't as fast as it should have been. I just couldn't push past the icky stomach. Super cool run despite the stomach and all the mud from the rain last night.

PM- 3.5 miles. 36 min easy. Treasure Run. We ran the classic trail where our team rescued a horse about 4 years ago. We went a little longer so that we could get all the way to the rescue point. I felt super sore and tired which made the run back up very hard but it was worth it. It was super fun.
