AM - 5.5 miles. Half mile barefoot warm up and then 15 min. V02 max test at dirt mile. I got 2 miles and 612 meters. I felt pretty happy with that distance and I felt like I pushed pretty hard. I probably could have pushed a little harder on few spots but I guess there is always room for improvement. My legs felt great and everything else felt great today so that helped me a lot today.

AM - 6.5 miles. 30/30 workout based on last week's vVO2. I got 30 repeats and then decided to stop. It was a little discouraging seeing some people about my level going almost 40 but I felt like I pushed it as hard as I could. I need to work on walking less on the recovery. Running club added some mileage as it was race day and I attempted to pace Jaron for the first half.

AM - 5.5 miles. Same barefoot warm up and then 4 miles barefoot with striders. I felt fairly good today. There was a little soreness from yesterday but it didn't bother me during the run and I was able to lead the pack for most of the run. Hopefully I feel this good tommorow.

AM - 7.25 miles. Same warm and 2xparkway loops again. I felt like I pushed harder and did much better than last week. I did stop once on the 2nd hill but found a push again when the top guys came back to push us to the finish. My legs still felt great although my mouth felt pretty dry. I definately need to keep hydrated better.

AM - 7 miles. I was late so I missed the warm up so it was just 7 miles from Green Springs Park into the desert. It was my first official Level 3 run and it was pretty hard. As I have said before, hills are my weaknesses so all those hills in the desert killed me. The heat was also bad even though it was 7 am. It was a fun run though and my legs felt good. They didn't really feel sore or tired but my foot pain did come back a little bit and then faded again. I really enjoyed just running with all the older guys.

AM - 4 miles easy. I went out at about 7 am and it wasn't too hot yet but my legs were feeling pretty tired from this week so it was nice to take it easy. My left achilles bothered me a bit but nothing too serious. I'm going to be in Park City all next week so hopefully I can get my runs in and at least do some similar workouts.
