| | PM - 7 miles. 4x1000 (goal: 3:48) with 3 min. recovery, 2x300 (goal: sub :50) with full recovery, and Harts warm and cool. I just wasn't in it today. I woke up sick, I wasn't super hydrated, and I just had that lazy attitude that I didn't want to run. My 1000 times were 3:48, 3:55, 3:57, 3:51 and my 300 times were :47 and :53. I felt like crap on the cool down and didn't do weights because I was just dead and felt sick. |

PM - 5 miles. 10x200 at 2 sec. faster than race pace (goal :36) with 1 min. recovery and Harts warm and cool. This workout was really hard. I love doing 200s but with such little recovery I was constantly out of breath and to make things worse I was kinda sick. My times were :34, :36, :35, :34, :37, :37, :36, :39, :38, and watch messed up on the other. I'm so terrible at hitting times and paces at the end of workouts. I really need to work harder on that so I don't die out in races as well like last week in Hurricane.

Hurricane 6th-10th (1 Miles) 00:05:35 | | Today's race didn't even feel like a race. It honestly felt like a tempo run. I wasn't going very fast and I didn't get a PR or anything. I just didn't prepare mentally and that's all I can say. |

Snow Canyon Invite (0.5 Miles) 00:02:26, Place overall: 20, Place in age division: 5 | | I ran the 800 again. I got my warm up in and then waited forever for the race to start. I decided to cool it on the first lap this time but I cooled it a bit too much and ran a 1:16ish first lap which means I ran a negative split the second. I was pretty happy with my race because I got a nice little kick in at the end and passed a few people instead of a few people passing me. |

| | PM - 6 miles to Sandbergs. Coach gave us a break today so us 6 milers went to Sandbergs. It was pretty much just me and the freshman on this run. My brother and Reed were running with us early on but we lost them and Chandler before we ever got to Sandbergs. It was super hot today so going for swim felt great. Fun run with weights after. |

| | AM - 7 miles with 20 min AT tempo (6:40 pace). I got my run in real quick before Conference so I wasn't able to get 8 miles. This was probably one of my better tempos. I was able to stay on pace for pretty much the whole tempo. I ran the first half really well like normal and when I started to fall off the second half I kept pushing and was able to stay pretty close to my pace. |
