AM - 3.5 miles. 30 min easy. Felt kind of tired this morning. I haven't got enough sleep lately.

PM - 7 miles. 45 min. Cedar All-Comers. Time: 17:14. Place Overall: 28th. Place on Team: 9th. Bad race today for me and our team. I just didn't feel like I was in race mode today. I didn't get out with Nick like I wanted to, I didn't stick with my teammates like I wanted to, and I pretty much just jogged the last two miles. After mile one I just quit on myself and I got passed by a bunch of people. Our team also ran poorly. We didn't group up like we had worked so hard on during the summer and it really made a difference. Desert Hills ran amazing and ripped us apart. They ran the greatest team race I've ever seen and made us look like a JV squad. It was a really discouraging race especially after all the hard work I've put in. I didn't even get a varsity spot, I ran so poorly. I guess it means I've got a lot more work to do.

Way to hang in there and finish the race even when it got tough. We all have a bad day once in a while. One race doesn't make a season. Learn from your mistakes and you will do better in your next race.
