1600 - I once again tied my PR. 1.5 mile warm up. I once again got out fairly quick but let myself just sit back for the rest of the first 3 laps. I didn't push as hard as I could of during those 3 laps and I wasn't even breathing that hard. I finally sped up on the 4th lap and I could tell I left too much in the tank because I was able to almost do an all out 400 meter sprint. I felt like I was flying down the track on that last lap because I passed people so fast that I felt like I was sprinting and they were walking. Great race but need to work on pushing earlier on in the race. 3200 - Time: 12:13. Terrible race. Not much to talk about except that I didn't even try. I gave up on myself and almost got lapped by the leaders. |
