The Level 2 Boys ran the DI Loop for warm up. I felt like I raced really well considering my goal coming into it. I really wanted to beat Jake Taylor because I'm always just a little bit behind him so I tried to stay up with him the whole time. I was behind him for a lot of the first lap but in the second lap I was pretty much running with him. Sometimes I would get ahead and sometimes he would get ahead but we were right next to each other for the whole second lap. We were pretty close for most of the third lap until the end where I put on my wheels and left him in the dust. On the last 50 meters I felt so tired so my finish was not fast and I ended up laying down at the end of the race. After the race we did a cool down around the course picking up cones and then did a hill workout. We only did five hills so it wasn't that bad. |
