I woke up this morning feeling sick as in cough, sore throat, and chest congestion. I felt like I ran pretty well though. When we first started doing the warm up, I realized that the grass was really thick. I knew it was a grass race but nobody even bothered to cut it or anything and this worried me. However, once I was racing I didn't even notice it that much. I started the race out as I usually do (at the back of the pack) and worked my way up. My legs felt great but my throat bothered me throughout the race. I felt like I ran pretty hard still and was able to pass Josh up in the last lap. My finish much like last race was pretty weak but I still was able to pass a couple of guys in the last 150 meters and didn't let them pass me again. My time was no where close to my Hurricane time but I still beat my Cedar Time.

you can't really compare times because every course is different. plus this was a little longer than hurrican so you prolly really improved a little. Good job! you're a great guy.
