AM - 3 miles with striders. Very easy grass run. Race - 2 mile warm up. I felt like I was going to throw up during it but when the race rolled around I felt better. For my first race I felt like I did pretty good. Coach told me to always be passing people and I tried as hard as I could too. I passed a lot of people but for the first mile and half I couldn't shake off this one Hurricane kid. He finally slowed down and I took advantage and passed him for good. I started my sprint to the finish right as I hit the track but died out before the finish. I need to work on keeping a better pace and need to start my sprint closer to the finish. 1 mile cool down.
