AM - 9 miles. 60 min easy with striders. Good run. Felt a bit tired but not too bad for a long run. Striders sucked cause the grass was all wet and cold.

PM - 3.5 miles. 30 min easy. Trail Run Tuesday - Prospector. Well even though I only had 30 minutes I went and ran a trail because I was getting sick of all the runs by my house. It was fun and I did it a bit earlier in the day because I'm going to the BYU vs Gonzaga game tonight. I hope they win because they probably won't make the NCAA tourney if they don't.

Controversial Topic of The Day - Who's the better Government Agent? Jack Bauer or James Bond? Personally I think James Bond is a much better agent. Jack Bauer is constantly breaking the rules and let's so many people die in the process of catching the bad guy. James Bond, first off is British and is very smooth and sophisticated but is also very clean and precise when it comes to catching the bad guy. If Jack Bauer and Bond got in a fight, Bauer would be dead in seconds.

This isn't a controversy. This is like asking who was a better player - Michael Jordan or Karl Malone. The mailman was very good, but certain figures transcend their sport/job. Bond is very good at what he does... Bauer is LEGENDARY.

A quick search reveals a kill count of ~354 for Bond over 22 movies. Bauer has 309 kills over NINE DAYS!!!

Jack Bauer was born in 1966. The last James Bond book was written in 1966. They're obviously the same person.

From Hell Raiser on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 13:22:36 from 71.37.124.59

Jack Bauer has sacrificed his life time and time again, ready to die for America. Even when the whole government is working against Jack and treating him as a fugitive or something ridiculous, he still manages to save the day.

From Jake K on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 13:27:47 from 159.212.71.17

He's the greatest American hero of all-time. Some would argue Bruce Willis in Armageddon should be ranked higher, but his sacrifice was for the entire world... and plus he got blown up and saved a ton of terrorists in the process.

From Alex The Lion on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 13:50:23 from 71.37.124.59

Cam, I understand why you would think that James Bond is better. Its because you have only seen 1 1/2 seasons of 24. Jack Bauer doesn't care about rules or government so in a way him and James Bond are not even on the same playing field. There is no limit to how far he will go. He is a straight up beast. In a fight Bond could cut off Jacks hands and shoot the president but Jack would find a way to kill him with his feet while resuscitating the president.

From The Warbeast on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 13:51:08 from 174.251.16.97

I'm with Jake K! 1. This isn't controversy 2. Jack Bauer is the greatest American hero (real or imaginary) of all time.

From Alex The Lion on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 13:53:19 from 71.37.124.59

Dont worry Cam. When you watch a couple more seasons of 24 you will realize how truly amazing Jack is.

From Jake K on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 13:56:36 from 159.212.71.17

If you guys want to get RIPPED for spring/summer break, chicks, etc... you need to play the 24 pushup game. Set a # of pushups for the following categories:

-Jack killing someone

-Jack torturing someone

-Jack torturing someone with a household item (like ripping the electric cord from a lamp and electrocuting them)

-Jack yelling "TELL ME WHERE THE BOMB IS"

-Jack yelling "D@MMIT"

Add your own categories as you wish. In college we would do the pushups during commercial breaks, but I don't know if those exist anymore.

007 is quite the lady slayer, Jack Bauer is the epitome of the bad guy slayer.

From Controversial Cam on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 14:37:40 from 67.2.186.31

Kills don't necessarily measure an agents greatness.

From Holt on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 15:55:46 from 67.2.239.163

Jake, remember that old show Greatest American Hero? Now there is a guy that is truly the greatest American hero; I mean, ITS IN HIS TITLE!

From Holt on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 15:57:33 from 67.2.239.163

ps

Cam, how do you not have views yet? You're becoming somewhat of a blog legend. No JB (whichever one you want), but pretty close to that Greatest American hero fellow I just mentioned.

From Jake K on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 15:59:01 from 159.212.71.17

Dave I know I can't crank out intervals like a few years ago, but how old do you think I am? :-) I'm only familiar w/ that show b/c of the Seinfeld episode where George used the song for his answering machine.

From Controversial Cam on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 16:31:27 from 67.2.186.31

Actually Coach it does show that I have views now. In fact, I have more views than you now. Hahaha.

From Holt on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 17:26:06 from 67.2.239.163

Now that was a classic - that Seinfeld episode. Nice Cam, it's still not showing on my iPad.

From Jon on Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 19:34:14 from 107.203.52.135

Bauer. Messier, though.

From Vis on Wed, Mar 11, 2015 at 18:52:57 from 199.201.102.249

I thought it was a controversial topic too until I realized that JB was in Stand By Me and was a vampire once. The fact that this thread gave The Lion a chance to show off his spelling skills with the word resuscitating has been the only real redeeming quality.
