AM - 6.5 miles. Same warm up and then 30/30 workout with 1 mile warm and about 0.5 mile cool. This was my second 30/30 workout and I found it so much easier than the first. My legs were still a little sore especially my quads which bothered me a bit early on but it soon faded. I came into this workout today very positive and with a goal in mind. My goal was to minimize walking on recovery (Coach wanted us to do this anyways) and try to get at least 30 repeats again. I nailed both of these goals and ended with 33 repeats which compared to two weeks ago felt way too easy. I hit my distance every time and actually overshot it most of the time and jogged way more than last time but it just seemed too easy today. I think that because I was more positive towards this workout, it didn't seem as hard but it could also be that I'm getting into better shape. Or maybe, it is a little mix of both. Whatever the reason, I'm just super happy with how I did today. |
