AM - 5 miles with 2 miles tempo (goal - 6:40 to 7:00 min. pace). No team practice today but me and my brother met up with Preston and Andrew at normal time and place. Josh Farish also showed because he thought we were having team practice. We ran out towards Arctic Circle and started our tempo at about 1.5 miles. Josh led us out but me, Andrew, and Preston were close behind with my brother not too far behind that. This was one of my best tempos (that's not saying much) but it felt a lot easier. We hit our pace and even a little faster at the end but I just felt so strong (probably because of the altitude training this week). My legs felt a little tired from earlier this week but it didn't really bother me until after the tempo. Great workout. |
