AM - 6 miles with 20 min. AT tempo (6:40 pace). This was actually one of my better tempos. I was able to hold my pace for the first 10 min. and still held a pretty good pace (a bit slower but not much) the last 10 which is actually pretty good considering how bad I've run tempos before. I think it helped that it was only 6 miles because it helped me thing a bit more positive. We had plyos after. My shin actually didn't feel too bad on this run but my legs were pretty tired after doing plyos. PM - 3 miles. It was nice to go a slow pace and just relax.
