AM - 5.5 miles. Same barefoot warm up and then 4x1000 (goal - 4:56) with 3 min. recovery. My times were 4:45, 5:00, 5:00, and 4:55:98. I did lot better today at hitting my times. I almost even hit my time on the 4th repeat. I only missed it by 2 hundredths of a second and if you round to the nearest second then I did hit my pace. It was a great (not to mention easy) workout and my legs just felt great.

PM - 3 miles. First double of the season and it brought back memories of last summer. It was a sweltering hot day and by the time the run was over every inch of my body was covered in sweat. Weights afterwards.

Thanks for letting me run w/ you today. I'm pumped to see what you can do this year.

No problem. You can run with me anytime.
