PM - 3 miles. I finally got to run again today which was awesome. Foot felt pretty good with the inserts I got and the padding I threw on it just in case. There was still pain but didn't bother me much on the run. I felt pretty rusty and definitely out of shape but I know it it will all together eventually.  I just warmed up with the boys (and also did the normal .5 mile warm) and I ran a little bit while everybody was doing their workout. It was good to be running again but I am just really anxious to jump right back in where I left off, running workouts and everything. It has been hard these last few weeks watching everyone especially Andrew (who is a freckin stud bytheway) killing it in their workouts and I really want to be working my butt off with them. I know I have to be patient but it is hard and is something I'm really going to have to be careful of in these next few weeks. I don't want to be dumb and think I'm ready to do everything right now when I'm not and all I do is hurt myself. Patience.

PM - 3.5 miles. My foot felt very good while I ran today despite some pain I felt throughout the day. Hopefully I can get to the point where there is no pain at all. I'm still feeling very rusty and even though my foot felt great a few other things did not. My knee and my Achilles hurt a bit but I think it is just because I'm out of shape because at the beginning of the summer it had similar knee pain but it slowly went away and I've had no problems since. So I'll do my best to take care of them and I'll have to be pretty patient and I think it will go away very soon. Otherwise it was a good run, I was running a very solid pace even after I turned around and was running alone.

PM - 4 miles. Me, Byron, and Reed (who were taking it easy for the day) ran with the Varsity girls. I feel pretty sore but my foot felt good again. I was pretty bummed when I found out that if I hadn't gotten injured I definintly would have gone to Pre-Foot because quite a few guys slow err than me (or at least who used to be slower than me) are going. I've promised myself that after I get rid of my injury totally I'm going to everything I can to stay healthy after that. I don't want to miss these oppurtunities again.

PM - 4.5 miles. Felt about same today. Foot felt good but the rest of my legs were sore. I think I'll back off a little tomorrow. As I've been reading the article Coach went us about recovery, I've really been thinking about why I got injured. The main reason was my shoes which is why I got inserts but I think sleep was also very big. I've gotten very little sleep this whole school year. I've been getting better but still not great. It is one thing that is going to make or break me. Sleep is going to be critical for me and I know it is not going to be easy but I'm going to do my best.

PM - 4.5 miles. 4 mile Dog Pound Tempo. Very few people at practice today with everybody leaving for Pre-Footlocker. I think there were more youngsters today than high schoolers so that was a little weird. Anyways the tempo was pretty good, I didn't really feel good enough to actually do the tempo. I just hung back with Pugs and tried to help push him. I ended up pushing my brother who felt so bad he started walking right in the middle tempo. The pace was no where near a tempo for me but that was what I wanted. I think I may jump into a workout next week but  we will see. I probably won't do the time trial next week either.

PM - 3 miles. Me and my brother got in a quick night run. We ran down past the middle school which is probably one of my favorite places to run because there almost never any cars and it is really peaceful. I felt pretty good. Good to get something in.
