AM - 10 miles. 60 min with 40 tempo and striders. I woke up still feeling really sore from camp and super tired but the tempo turned out great. I worked on staying relaxed like I usually do and I was able to stick right in with the group for pretty much the whole thing. I started to fall off a little bit towards the end but I was able to finish off with one last good push. Great workout for our team. We had a very strong group and hopefully we can continue to carry this strength over to races.

PM - 3.75 miles. 31 min easy. Average Pace: 7:57. I got out by myself around 3. Legs felt sore but not really that tired and so it wasn't as slow as I usually go. It wasn't extremely hot with the storm and all so that was nice.

AM - 7.75 miles. 60 min with parkway hills. We had enough time to do 3 parkway hills. It was really hard but glad we did them because hills are a huge weakness for me. I just worked on staying relaxed so I mostly just sat at the back of the pack today. Nothing crazy fast but a good push. Last Kids Club after. It is a bitter sweet feeling. I'm glad it's over but that also means summer is over so that's a bummer.

PM - 3.5 miles. 30 min easy. We ran the time trial course today for practice. I'm really looking forward to racing if tommorw. I know I can do well.

AM - 8.25 miles. Time Trial #1. Time: 11:31. Overall Place: 6th. Didn't run as well as I hoped. I got out quick right with Nick and Logan but I slowed down quite a bit at the hill on the first lap and I got passed by quite a few guys. On the second lap I started moving up a bit again and caught Dallin who had passed me on the first lap and we got rolling coming into the last lap. On the last lap Dallin had gapped me and Jason passed me so I was sitting in about 7th but I had a nice kick and was able to just barely beat Dallin. Times weren't very fast today but conditions weren't great. Muddy and wet. We ran pretty tight as a team though and we had a 19 second spread from 1 to 5 and 22 seconds from 1 to 7. Still need to work on closing the gap from the 7 to 8 guy.

PM - 3.5 miles. 30 min easy. Met at Coach's house today so that we could do a pool party after. Pretty hot but I felt good.

AM - 7.75 miles. 61 min with 6x1200 (goal - 4:50) and 3 min recovery. Times: 4:56, 4:51, 4:45, 4:40, 4:45, 4:42. Pretty easy workout today. Not really hard to hit the times. We were fast on most of them because we didn't really know how fast we needed to go. Legs felt great today.

PM - 3.25 miles. 31 min easy. Accidentally slept through afternoon practice so I had to run on my own. Sorry Coach.

AM - 12.25 miles. 90 min with strong finish. Pretty hard run today but I survived and actually stuck with the group the whole time. It was probably my best strong finish ever and so much better than the last few hard finishes that we have done. Legs felt great but we kept a strong pace the whole run which made it really hard. Super fun run and I was just glad to be able to stick with the guys the whole time for the first time on our long run in a few weeks

PM - 3.5 miles. 30 min easy. Average Pace: 8:21. Got out by myself at 4ish. Pretty hot today but I felt good.

AM - 4.75 miles. 40 min easy. Average Pace:  8:24. Another run by myself. I felt really good. No soreness or tiredness from the hard week so that is good. I hope I can continue to keep feeling like this.
