| | PM - 4 miles. Kosmin Test #3 with Harts warm and cool. I felt pretty good today and even with the wind I think I did better than last time with a distance of 713 ft. After running it, my legs were dead but I still felt pretty zesty and actually led the pack on the cool down. |

| | PM - 5.5 miles. 3x1000 (goal: 3:41). I felt really zesty today despite my legs feeling a bit sore and even though my goal time was increased I went way too fast. My times were 3:31, 3:35, and 3:31. I don't know what is my problem but some days I easily hit my times and other days I struggle to even touch my times. I just tried to stay close behind Andrew today because I knew he would pull me to my times but it was just too fast. I guess its not a huge deal because I at least stayed pretty consistent with my times. |

| | PM - 4x400 (all out with full recovery) and Harts warm and cool. My times were 1:06, 1:06, 1:16, and 1:10. I felt pretty good on the first too but I just could find no push on the third one and very little on the fourth. Nice short workout. |

| | PM - 800 (all out) with Harts warm and cool. My time was 2:24 which was 1 second slower than my PR which was kind of bummer since we were supposed to go all out. My first lap was about a 1:08 but even though it felt like I was going the same speed on the 2nd lap, I slowed down drastically. I felt pretty good but I could still kinda feel that donut I ate in advocacy. |

2013 Region 9 Championships (0.5 Miles) 00:02:23, Place overall: 15, Place in age division: 11 | | 800 meters - Pretty good race for me. I tied my PR but I felt like I ran an all around better race. 1.5 mile warm up then some strides. I got out fairly quick but didn't let myself get to sucked into the front. I stayed relaxed the first lap not really moving up but not getting passed. I sped up the last lap and started to catch up to Jason and Andrew but I slowed down with 200 left and almost let them leave me in the dust. I was just about to give up but decided what the heck. I kicked it in hard and actually screamed when I came in and was able to pass Jason and got close to Andrew. Nice race with 1 mile barefoot cool down. |

2013 Region 9 Championships (1 Miles) 00:05:16, Place overall: 19, Place in age division: 5 | | 1600 - I once again tied my PR. 1.5 mile warm up. I once again got out fairly quick but let myself just sit back for the rest of the first 3 laps. I didn't push as hard as I could of during those 3 laps and I wasn't even breathing that hard. I finally sped up on the 4th lap and I could tell I left too much in the tank because I was able to almost do an all out 400 meter sprint. I felt like I was flying down the track on that last lap because I passed people so fast that I felt like I was sprinting and they were walking. Great race but need to work on pushing earlier on in the race. 3200 - Time: 12:13. Terrible race. Not much to talk about except that I didn't even try. I gave up on myself and almost got lapped by the leaders. |

| | 3 miles. First run since taking a break. It was a nice little run up in Bryce Canyon. The legs felt great and the altitude didn't really seem to bother me. I just tried to stay relaxed and it was great beautiful little run. |
